I’m excited for people to read and hear this one, whether you buy it now or after getting some more details and previews, or wait until it hits streaming services in a few months...

Before I get too caught up in sales and self-promotion and other logistics, I want to recognize how this felt like a success from the start…

After 3 years of working on all the pieces of this release and 6 years since releasing art to the public (or really using social media at all), it’s easy to place expectations on numbers and reception…

But every creative project is a success. Every finished song or page. Every mix. Every inspiring collaboration with an artist. Not just for me, but for anyone who’s thinking about starting something new or continuing their craft…

I could have stopped releasing things for good and happily created in private, just like I did for years before putting out my first album. But I would miss out on the joy of sharing and discussing the art that moved me or challenged me while making it…

At some point I might write a bit more about the process of creating this, but for now I’m just enjoying my first physical print in years…
